Lightning fast! If you order custom-printed event tickets before 3 p.m. CST, they will ship out from our facility the next business day—that's a 24-hour turnaround! Place your order Monday before 3 p.m. CST, and it will ship out Tuesday. Remember, weekends don't count, so if you place your order Saturday, it will be processed Monday and ship out Tuesday. The actual design is free, but the exact price of your order will vary. Things like color or black ink, the number of image uploads, your choice of stapling, the type of paper you select, and, of course, the number of tickets or other products you order all affect the price.
For the least expensive tickets, choose a black-and-white design with no images!
Most of our event tickets come equipped with stubs. If you'd like a selection of stubless tickets, please browse our coupon, and drink ticket templates – those designs can double as stubless event tickets. Some Eventgroove customers have even used invitations as event tickets!
Yes! Ordering items together will save you shipping costs but delay the delivery of your tickets since our custom products have a longer turnaround.
Since the ordering process is different for online and custom products, please do not complete your online order. Instead, simply create an account online and add the tickets to your cart. After entering your shipping and billing information online, please call our customer support team at 888.771.0809. They will start the custom product ordering process and finalize your order once all the necessary information is received.
You can! Our digital proofs offer a good facsimile of your physical ticket. However, if you're worried about the quality of our online templates or an image you uploaded, you can call our customer support team at 888.771.0809 and request a physical sample. We'll put your order on hold and send you one unperforated sample sheet via UPS Next Day Air at no cost (free!).
Since we never start printing until a proof is approved, please keep in mind that requesting a physical proof will delay your order. Also, if you call after UPS has picked up its Next Day Air shipments for the day, we will not be able to ship the sample sheet the same day.
Once you receive your physical proof, please call customer support to either confirm your order or cancel it at no cost. If you are not satisfied with the proof, we will refund your money and you can make the necessary changes to your online template before resubmitting the order.

We have several event ticket paper stocks from which to choose! Our most popular is our signature 100lb cover stock. It's bright white with an uncoated, ultra-smooth finish. You can also choose from 100% Recycled Durable 111lb cover stock, heavyweight stock, heavyweight 100lb (11pt) heat-sensitive security media, souvenir-quality heavyweight coated semi-gloss, and heavyweight 100lb (11pt) UV security media. Prices for our card stocks vary, so as you review each kind before checkout, keep an eye on the pricing summary on the right hand of your screen!
We'd like to think they're both great! The smooth finish has a matte appearance while the semi-gloss finish has more shine, so colors tend to stand out more with the semi-gloss finish. Other than that, both papers are a top-quality, heavyweight ticket stock that makes your tickets look professional and feel great in hand. They have about the same weight as an expensive business or greeting card.
No matter the design, card stock, or the size they measure on your device or computer screen, your printed tickets measure 5.63 x 1.97 inches. Don't worry about remembering ticket dimensions—they're written in the ticket template description and are displayed in the ordering summary before you check out!
That depends on the design you've chosen! Each event ticket template features a unique motif and layout, making the number of characters per line different for each template. To see if your test fits in the event ticket template you've selected, simply enter all your information into the ticket template and then click "View Proof" at the bottom of the page. If your text doesn't fit, the lines with too many characters will appear in red within your proof. From there, you can make revisions to ensure your text fits within the event ticket template's parameters. Keep in mind that capital letters need more space than lowercase letters, and vertical layouts usually allow for less text than horizontal layouts.
Yes! Many of our ticket templates have space to upload your own image. To find them, type "image" into our search box, and our vast selection of event ticket templates with image upload spots will appear. Please remember that the design of our event ticket templates cannot be altered—you can only add text or images to the available fields.

Yes! Simply leave any lines blank within the online template, and that space will remain blank on your finished print product. However, since our templates are standardized and the process is automated, there is no way to add a text line or reposition the text without paying for a custom ticket order. To save you money, we keep our online ticket templates standardized and streamlined. This means that the back of our online templates is enabled for image upload, not for text editing. The solution to this is to save the text you'd like on the back as an image file. To do so, create your text in a program such as Photoshop or Microsoft Paint. Then, save it as an image file with 300 dpi resolution for print size 3.5" x 1.75" to avoid pixelation when printed. Finally, upload that image to the back of your chosen event ticket template.

The font styles, sizes, colors, and sizes available for each template are preset—that's just another way that our online ticket templates save you money. Absolutely! We've tried to make it easy to reorder your tickets, even if you want to change them a bit. To do so, please click on "My Account" and navigate to your history. Find the ticket you would like to reorder, click on it, and then select the reorder button. The screen where you previously added event details will appear and you can revise your tickets to your needs.
Yes! We offer roll tickets in red, white, or blue with 2000 tickets per roll. If you're looking for fast, affordable bulk tickets for tricky trays, carnivals, or quick raffles, roll tickets are a great and easy solution. Single roll tickets are great for games and gate control, while double roll tickets help you add a prize draw or other contest to your event.
Yes! We sequentially number all our event tickets, raffle tickets, drink tickets, and VIP passes to keep your event secure! When ordering, simply enter the first number in the line that says "Start Number." If you enter "001" and order 250 tickets, the numbering will go from 001 up to 250. If you enter "000" and order 250 tickets, the numbering will go from 000 up to 249. For increased security, some of our customers choose larger, random numbers for their start number. Doing so makes it difficult for people to create convincing forgeries.
Yes! It's a standard security feature when you order printed event tickets from Eventgroove. Your entire order will include matching barcode numbers, which are the same as your order number. Your order number will also be printed right beneath the barcode—a scanner won't be needed to verify each ticket’s authenticity.
Yes! The unique barcode on the back of our event tickets is scannable (Code 93). If you need more barcode options, just check out our Design Your Own or custom event ticket services. Sorry, we do not offer or recommend scanners.
Stapled event-ticket booklets make them easier to distribute. If you choose to have your event tickets stapled, they'll be in stapled booklets of up to 10 items. However, stapling costs a bit extra—to see how much, please select the stapling option at checkout and choose the number of items per booklet. The price will appear in the lower-right corner.
It's up to you! The stub is the smaller portion of the ticket; the body is the main part of the ticket. Where you place the staple depends on how you intend to distribute the tickets. Consider which setup would best help your organization's efforts.
Yes! Since padding uses glue, it is best not to leave it in a cold climate because it can cause cracking in the glue or become brittle over time. It is also not recommended to leave it in a hot car or in sunlight because this will warm up the glue, which may lessen its binding capabilities.
It is best to let your booklets acclimate for 24 hours to the area where they will be used if they have been in hot or cold elements.
Most of our event ticket templates print with perforated stubs. Just be sure you choose an event ticket template with a stub. If there is a dotted line on your online proof or if a stub is included in the design description, you're all set! Still unsure? - We print the back of the online templates with a watermark (the Eventgroove logo) that includes micro security text—this faint and very small text usually will not show up when copied.
- Each ticket has a unique barcode and a never-repeated number. Again, this comes standard on all our online templates at no extra cost.
- Every ticket is printed with sequential numbering, helping to prevent fraud.
- For a small additional cost, we offer high-security, heat-activated ticket stock. This paper features the message "Security Paper, Do Not Duplicate" printed at a 45-degree angle in heat-sensitive ink. Applying a little heat by rubbing, blowing, or holding the ticket next to a light bulb will change the ink from light green to light yellow, thus allowing your ticket-takers to see immediately whether the ticket is valid or not. Once the paper cools down, it returns to its original color.
- Consider the extra barcode options on our Design Your Own or custom tickets, or choose a thermal ticket with UV printing (visible only under ultraviolet or black light), a pressure-sensitive watermark (activated when rubbed with a coin), and magnetic striping.

You've either done too much or not enough. First, check the line that says "Required: Start Number." Did you enter a start number? It's required! And it's got to be a numeral. If you used letters or words (such as "none" or "one") in that line, just change that to digits. If that's not the problem, double-check that you did not enter too much text on any line. Too much text will result in a pink box indicating which line is too long and appear in red within the proof.
